Eliza: age 8, artist, philosopher, singer, writer, gymnast. William: age 6, mathematician, lego maniac, Patriots fan, soccer player, old soul. Ryan: age 3, totally depends on what he feels like on any given day.
And I’m their proud mom, Jenny. In my 8+ years of parenting this wonderful trio, I’ve learned two hard facts: 1. I still have so much to learn. 2. Every parent has to do what’s right for themselves and for their children (and, sometimes what’s right for everyone else’s children, but I’ll get to that later).
My belief is that, as parents, we all have our children’s best intentions at heart. My hope is that we can learn from each other through sharing information, supporting each other’s parenting efforts, offering on-going encouragement, and having a few laughs. I’ve now got a few experiences under my belt since this whole parenting thing started for me back in 2005 and I’m here to share a few of my own funny stories, some touching moments, several opinionated opinions, and hopefully some helpful tips for parenting practically.
I hope you’ll join me and share your thoughts as we journey on this breath-taking path called parenthood!
When not blogging here, you’ll find me with my kids, at the beach, managing my business (Three Green Pages, LLC), running a summer camp, painting, drinking coffee, or remodeling a random room or corner of my house (just ask my hubby!). I love elephants and there’s nothing better than a funky house cocktail on a night out.
